RME Consultants is delighted to be working with this reputable client based in Oxford, who is looking for a dynamic and Sales-focused individual to join their team as a Business Development Executive.

Role: Business Development Executive
Salary: 27,000 - 37,000 Per annum + 10,000 commission
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire

Main Duties for the Business Development Executive:

  • Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed quotas by identifying and profiling business opportunities.
  • Assess customer needs and present tailored sales solutions to highlight the benefits of new products.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and support channel partners.
  • Prepare accurate sales order paperwork to ensure proper configurations and solutions for customers.
  • Oversee the order process through internal procedures, ensuring approval from Sales, Ordering, and Installation teams.
  • Provide timely reports, including weekly and monthly sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and prospecting results.
  • Stay updated on company products, technologies, and industry trends.

Experience Required for the Business Development Executive:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a B2B sales environment
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and issues
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical product information
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
