JT18 - Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Carpenter All-rounder)Location – OxfordSalary - £38,000OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer/Multi Skilled Carpenter to join our client’s reactive maintenance team. The successful candidate will work as part of the Mobile Support Team to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive and call out to all carpentry and engineering call outs. All successful candidates are required to be flexible in their approach to working hours due to the reactive nature of the business. Successful candidates must be available for interview on 25/11/19.Key Responsibilities

  • To work as part of the Mobile Support Team supplying carpentry/building fabric support and response engineering competency to external clients.
  • To carry out Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Services.
  • To provide detailed reporting with predictive times for remedial and chargeable works, and life cycle condition reporting.
  • To provide a high level of technical and hands on support in the provision of our service delivery and the daily communication with our clients and office staff.
  • Working as a key part of the Mobile Support Team, and key interface with Facilities Maintenance Clients.
  • To carry out all works in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness.
  • Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation.
  • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests associated with roofing services and associated systems or items.
  • Must be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the clients.
  • To respond to callouts and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the services aspects of the contract as required.
  • Assist other trades as necessary.

Essential

  • Carpentry qualified/skills with additional fabric knowledge.
  • Health and Safety Training.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Occasional Allied Duties

Duties

  • To attend meetings as required and provide technical interface with the Company on site.
  • To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.
  • To undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the Client.
  • To proactively work towards the growth of the contract into other service provisions be they Fabric, Mechanical and Electrical, Life Cycle replacements, Project works, etc.
  • To focus on the expected team behaviours for achieving significant results and outcomes for the business, helping the Company to maintain its leading-edge status within the industry and our reputation with our customers.
  • To provide a high-quality support service to Facilities Management contracts.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction within agreed service levels of the Client.
  • Manage personal workloads to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Endeavour to achieve Reactive targets and Quotation deadlines.
  • Actively integrate and encourage ownership within the mobile team.
  • Continually review workload, focus on project management from enquiry to completion, with Individual development.
  • Pro-actively promote the Company’s business.
  • Encourage business growth both internally and externally and encourage business development.
