Job Description:
Contract Options is currently recruiting a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our team at a probation center located in Maudsley House, Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for residents, adhering to dietary requirements, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard
- Manage and maintain the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate specific dietary requirements
- Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as necessary
- Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to
- Collaborate with staff and residents to provide a positive dining experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, ideally in a similar environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A flexible and positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS Check(Required)
- Valid driving license(Preferred)
