Are you looking for a new Head Chef position in the heart of Oxford? Would you like to work for a privately owned hotel with a fantastic kitchen facility?
As Head Chef you will:
- Take control of all functions of the kitchen and 4 members of staff
- Lead and manage the team
- Ensure the service and functions are completed efficiently
- Set staff rotas
- Ensure Health & Safety and Hygiene Management
- Train new staff
- Create seasonal menus
- Deal with stock control & ordering
The Head Chef will have :
- Previous experience as a Head Chef
- A La Carte Menu experience preferred
- Experience creating menu's
- Experience in leading a kitchen team / managing a kitchen
- Knowledge and qualifications in Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
- Experience using fresh ingredients, creativity
- Planning and organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Be proactive
You must be able to work various shifts
