We are excited to announce a partnership with a rapidly growing accountancy firm in Oxford. We are currently seeking an Outsourcing Client Business Manager to join their experienced team to work alongside their outsourcing team.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering competitive salary and benefits package including flexible and hybrid working options to accommodate a variety of work-life balance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Being the primary day-to-day contact for your allocated clients processing activities and treasury matters, taking responsibility for all duties
  • Bank transactions, sales and purchase ledger items, expense claims and all other general ledger postings and journals
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across a portfolio of clients
  • Active business partnering to ensure informed reporting of risks & opportunities, actuals and forecast variance analysis
  • Ensuring that allocated teams are keeping all accounting systems up to date
  • Reviewing VAT returns, EC sales lists and Intrastat returns
  • Carrying out ad hoc assignments, often to include budgeting and assistance with cash flow forecasting and training clients in use of their accounting systems
  • Assisting with tendering to potential new clients as well as the implementation phase for new engagements
  • Promoting the interests of the firm to clients, prospective clients and other third parties
  • Liaising and collaborating with tax, payroll and other departments on client matters, identifying cross-selling opportunities
  • Empowering and educating through line management to develop more junior members of the team
Key Skills
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of UK experience as a senior management accountant
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (Desired)
  • Knowledge of UKGAAP and desirably IFRS
  • Sage and CCH experience (Desired)
  • Strong IT skills in Xero and Excel
  • Dext, Silverfin and CCH experience
  • Positive and confident self starter
  • Strong communication skills
