Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller to join a prestigious Formula One Team based in Oxfordshire. We are looking for a highly skilled individual with Heidenhain control experience to support the team's machining requirements during the weekend nightshift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls to produce precision components to the highest standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Ensure production schedules are met within the fast-paced environment of a Formula One team.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operation.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with the team to achieve tight deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with strong proficiency in Heidenhain control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Previous experience within a motorsport or automotive environment is highly desirable.
Contract Details:
- Shift: Friday to Sunday night.
- Rate: Starting at 38.36 per hour
- Inside IR35
- Contract: Initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension.
- Start Date: Immediate start available.
