TD Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced demolition supervisor to work for our client in Oxfordshire area.
Job Summary:
- You will be responsible for overseeing and managing demolition projects from start to finish.
- Your role will involve supervising a team of demolition labourers, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of demolition workers
- Plan and organize demolition projects, including creating work schedules and assigning tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Collaborate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor equipment usage and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or issues
- Train new employees on proper demolition techniques and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate project records, including documentation of work completed, materials used, and any incidents or accidents
Qualifications:
- CSCS/CCDO card
- Asbestos awareness certificate
- Proven experience as a Demolition Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and subcontractors
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour as needed
- Valid driver's license
- It would be a major positive if you had experience of completing RAMS for sites.
