We are seeking a Tenancy Management Officer for an immediate start with an Oxford-based council. This temporary role is an excellent opportunity for individuals experienced in tenancy management and looking to contribute to community welfare.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee and manage the tenancy lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and council regulations.
  • Address and resolve issues related to tenancies, including disputes and arrears.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure maintenance and safety standards are met.
  • Provide support and advice to tenants to promote sustainable tenancies.
  • Liaise with other council departments, external agencies, and contractors to coordinate services and support for tenants.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to tenancy management and present findings to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in tenancy or property management, preferably within a local government context.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation and tenancy agreements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of dealing effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
