We are a managed service provider who have exclusively partnered up with an Aerospace company near Oxford to handle their entire recruitment process as they search for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join them on a contract basis. They manufacture revolutionary technology supporting the ever-growing advanced air mobility AAM sector. You will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic work environment. It will initially begin as a 6-month contract with the opportunity to continue on an ongoing basis.
The successful Senior Electronics Engineer will be involved in:
Technically leading, guiding and mentoring engineers
Leading the development of inverters and converters
Leading and/or contribute to design reviews
Designing, developing, debugging and validate electronics hardware for use in inverter and converter products for aerospace applications
Simulation and evaluation of electrical and thermal circuit designs
Evaluate component lifetime, limits and derating
Generate internal and external documentation including designs, analysis, simulation and reviews
Developing the electronics / hardware departments technologies, capabilities, facilities, and processes
The Senior Electronics Engineer will ideally have the following skills or experience:
Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Experience with electronic characterisation
Experience of modelling, simulation and analysis of electronic circuits for inverter systems
Experienced in performing design analysis, such as worst-case, tolerance, thermal, and stress
Proficient with ECAD tools such as Schematic, PCB, Modelling, Simulation
Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacture (DFM)
Compensation: Competitive Rates (inside IR35)
