Our client is a highly successful boutique firm of consulting engineers, specialising in mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) engineering. As specialists designing all the moving parts of buildings, they play a huge role in making buildings as sustainable and energy efficient as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Working alongside the engineers to establish the Energy and Sustainability requirements.
- Production of Sustainability / Energy Calculations
- Work alongside project architects to agree thermal requirements and glazing strategies.
- Input of the sustainability strategy at each stage of a project
- Collation of Building Control evidence in relation to Sustainability items e.g. Energy strategies and CO2 calculations.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of emerging technologies through continued personal development.
Experience Required
- The minimum entry requirement for this role is to hold a strong academic background in environmental building services or a mechanical degree with a sustainability masters.
- Experience of any of the following would be beneficial.
- Executing and delivering sustainability projects.
- Assessing thermal modelling and dynamic studies, knowledge of IES, SAP, BREEAM, Part L, TM52, TM59.
- Open to ongoing learning and professional development.
