Our Client is looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic individual with a proven track record in client engagement and event management to contribute to the success of the College's events programme. The successful applicant will be responsible for organizing and delivering events from start to finish, ensuring exceptional client experiences that enhance our reputation.

The postholder will collaborate closely with all departments within the College to facilitate events such as residential conferences, Summer Schools, special dinners, and weddings, and will be present on-site during these events.

Some weekend and evening work will be required to support these activities.

**Summary of Key Responsibilities:**

- Act as the first point of contact for sales inquiries
- Manage client site visits and upsell services
- Evaluate inquiries, create client event contracts, and generate invoices
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure events run smoothly
- Build strong relationships with event organizers
- Engage with social media audiences on a daily basis
- Attend and exhibit at national and international trade shows

**Qualifications and Experience:**

The successful candidate will possess:

- Previous professional or formal event management experience, including planning, delivery, and evaluation of online, in-person, and hybrid events
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, including handling inquiries
- Proven ability to nurture strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Competence in using MS applications

Additionally, candidates will ideally have:

- Awareness of data protection regulations
- Experience using social media in a professional context
- A working knowledge of Kinetix event database systems
