Robert Half are delighted to be supporting Rock Management Services (Rock MS) on the recruitment of a Personal Assistant to their Managing Director. This is a full time, and permanent position with a hybrid working model, of 2 days per week in their Oxford office (OX2).

Rock Management Services support organisations with business support services including HR, IT, Finance, Practice Management and Compliance, as well as business consultancy advice. Rock MS support clients predominantly in the legal industry, with Reeds Solicitors LLP (Reeds) being one of their biggest clients. The role of Personal Assistant will support both businesses, Rock MS and Reeds.

The Position:

The role of Personal Assistant will act as the 1st point of contact for the MD and will be required to support across a suite of traditional PA duties. The ideal candidate will have strong previous administrative experience, have an exceptional attention to detail and be able to handle a high-volume workload with changing priorities.

Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing all incoming email communication for the Managing Director, filtering, responding and actioning as required.
  • Diary management.
  • Scheduling and planning of meetings as well as minute taking and distributing notes.
  • Overseeing all office administrative support; ordering equipment, supporting with home working setups and more.
  • Planning, organising and attending internal and external events.
  • Supporting the Marketing team with running the business' social media accounts and daily marketing requirements.
  • Assisting with other ad hoc projects as required.

Your Profile:

  • Strong administrative experience is crucial for this position, ideally within a PA/secretarial role.
  • Legal industry experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive individual, who is well organised with a proven ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong system knowledge, able to use Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Package:

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £30-35k plus benefits including 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and an additional paid 'celebration' day per year, ability to buy further holiday, private medical health care, discounted gym memberships, cycle to work scheme, employee assistance programme and access to an in-house therapist.
