Corporate Finance AssociateOxfordPermanent, Full-time Your new companyAn exciting position within a boutique corporate finance firm has become available.Our client has a strong focus upon business development and training of their team, all while working with a technology focused and engaging client base.Your new roleThis role will include direct exposure to clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to listed companies, institutional investors, private equity funds, and commercial lending banks, both UK and international.What they do:
- Disposal advisory: including sales preparations advice as well as sales process execution and negotiation
- Acquisition advisory: including target search and identification
- Capital raising: leveraging the UK and international network of investors
- Renewables Infrastructure financing / disposals
- Strategy consulting: Corporate NED services with both public and private businesses

What you'll need to succeed You will ideally be newly qualified from a Big 4 Firm with a background in audit or corporate finance.You will have some understanding and interest in financial markets and will have an affinity for and interest in the workings of different businesses and business models.This is a client-facing role, so it is essential that you enjoy client relationship building and are prepared to work flexibly between multiple and different work streams. You will have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be a team player but also able to work using your own initiative.
- Strong modelling skills
- Be able to complete basic tax computations
- Be experienced in using an accounts production package, cloud-based softwares and excel.
- Previously have worked in a client servicing environment
- Experience with preparing financial statements
