Our client is a leading healthcare organisation with a number of private hospitals and health and wellbeing centres situated across the country. They are currently looking for an experienced finance professional to support 3 of their private hospitals (based in London & Oxford) in achieving their exciting growth plans whilst contributing to building a healthier nation…

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with site senior leadership teams (SLT) to deliver the 2025 EBITDA budget and growth over 3 of their private hospital sites
  • Regular monitoring against the growth plan to ensure initiatives remain on track, or are mitigated against if not.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and challenge costs to ensure appropriate use of resources.
  • Embed a continuous financial performance improvement framework and culture within sites.
  • Providing commercial critical friend decision support and business insight.
  • Appraisal of business performance and investments.
  • Stakeholder management from site SLT, up to regional SLT, and ultimately the Executive Committee.
  • Provide finance support for central initiatives on an ad-hoc basis, as required.

Requirements:

  • ACA or equivalent accountancy qualification with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Demonstrable experience of driving financial improvement within a complex organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of FP&A or business partnering within a finance function with the ability to challenge and negotiate
  • Strong Microsoft Office skillset, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working within the private healthcare industry in a multi-site setting, particularly with private hospitals is highly desirable
