Description

The Finance Manager will play a key role as this company grows over the coming years.

Oversee management of day-to-day financial matters of the company with the help of the Finance Assistant and alongside the Finance Consultant.
Line-manage the Finance Assistant.
Liaise with external services for audit preparation, banking, and other financial needs as necessary.
Track the organisation's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement and red flags.
Work with the Project Managers to plan expenditure on project accounts.
Seek out methods of minimising financial risk to the organisation.
Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Oversee credit control and contributing to budget and forecast preparation.
Develop cashflow forecasting to enhance cash management.
Establish, maintain and update high standard financial practices.
Oversee the annual financial audit.
Oversee grant reporting for EC funded grants

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

Strong background in an all round accounting position within an SME
Professional qualification in accounting or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
Proficiency in financial software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Job Offer

A basic salary package in the range of £36,000 - £40,000.
