Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Join our dynamic team as an Outsourcing Associate, where you will provide exceptional service to a diverse client portfolio. You will be responsible for preparing management accounts and VAT returns for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, charities, and limited companies. This role will see you managing around 20-30 clients on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis, while also reviewing the work of junior team members and assisting in the creation of draft invoices. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your technical skills while engaging with clients regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts and VAT returns for a diverse client base.
- Deliver outstanding client service consistently.
- Review the work of junior team members and raise draft invoices for approval.
- Foster and manage strong client relationships.
- Meet deadlines efficiently while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Level 4 AAT qualification and/or studying towards ACCA (part-qualified).
- Experience preparing VAT returns and management accounts within an accounting practice.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage 50 Accounts, QuickBooks) and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage client relationships effectively.
- Excellent team player with the ability to prioritise tasks.
