Sheridan Maine are proud to be working with a leading international organisation in Oxfordshire who are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their finance department. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including: 
  • Lead the annual stock take and perform in depth stock reconciliations.
  • Analyse stock variances and produce reports for senior management.
  • Oversee and supervise accounting staff.
  • Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • P & L analysis and variance reporting.
  • Provide assistance with audit requirements.
  • Identify and streamline current accounting procedures.
  • Support the business with system projects and enhancements of the ERP system.
This fantastic opportunity requires an individual who has the following skills and experience: 
  • Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA (desired).
  • Prior experience of staff management (essential).
  • Experience of using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP (essential).
  • Ability to analyse data and develop reporting (essential).
  • Strong communication skills (essential).
