Job Title: Quantity Surveyor- Commercial & Industrial New Build
Location:Oxford, Oxfordshire
Salary:Negotiable DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for commercial and industrial new build projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
- Manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement processes.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure they stay within budget.
- Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice on cost-saving strategies and risk management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying for commercial and industrial new build projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
