Senior Clean Water Process Engineer

Due to continued growth, exciting opportunities have arisen for Senior Civil Pipeline Engineers to join a Global Design Engineering Company on a contract basis. This role will be based in an office near to your location, Inside of Scope of IR35, 6-12 months contract and at 40 hours a week.

As a Senior Clean Water Process Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the process engineering design and development for clean water projects. Your role will involve overseeing technical design work to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals. Successful management of project timelines, budgets, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be crucial to delivering integrated process solutions. Upholding stringent quality assurance standards throughout the design process will also be essential to your role.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the process engineering design for clean water projects, ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
  • Prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve key milestones and objectives.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated process engineering solutions.
  • Uphold quality assurance standards throughout the design and delivery phases.
  • Interact with clients to understand project requirements and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with process design and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in leading process engineering design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
  • In-depth understanding of clean water treatment processes, including filtration, disinfection, sedimentation, and membrane technologies. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and current UK design standards.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and design software such as BioWin, PCSWMM, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
  • Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer.
