We are now looking for Water Hygiene Technicians to join our growing team

Reporting daily to your Manager, the Water Hygiene Technician will visit clients sites and be the face of the company, seeking to enhance relationships with existing clients. You will be carrying out key duties to ensure their systems are kept compliant. You will be working alongside likeminded and supportive colleagues to provide great client service.

The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:

Water sampling

Temperature monitoring

Descaling of shower head and hoses.

TMV servicing

Tank cleans and inspections

Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers

Mains injection pipework chlorination works

Required Skills

Taking pride in the work and service you deliver

Good level of computer skills

Positive attitude and work ethic

A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and knowledge of the following:

Legionella awareness

Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 and guidance document HSG274 Part 2

Disinfections of hot and cold water systems, in accordance with HSG274 Part 2, BS 8558 and PD855468.

Servicing and installation of thermostatic mixing valves

Closed systems

Excellent customer relations are a must as the role will often include the individual being in a customer facing environment.

Good communication skills are required as the majority of the role will involve being on the telephone with customers and employees within the business, e.g. engineers, admin, sales and management teams.

A good understanding of Health and Safety will be an advantage.

A willingness to travel to locations across the country.

A full, clean UK driving licence


Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30 minutes lunch break.


Successful candidates will be required to undergo BS7858 Employment Screening and an Enhanced DBS check.
