Our client, a leading social housing contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the improvement of homes for local communities, with the potential for long-term employment.

Position: Floor Layer
Contract: Temp to Perm
Location: The ideal candidate will be based in any of the following areas: RG,OX,SL,SN,GL
Salary: Competitive pay (depending on experience) + benefits
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and repairing a variety of floor coverings, including vinyl, carpet, and laminate, in social housing properties.
• Ensuring all floor installations comply with health and safety standards.
• Conducting repairs and maintenance as required.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
• Working closely with the team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a floor layer.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of floor laying techniques and materials.
• Full UK driving license.
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
