Dunbar Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fantastic school in Oxfordshire for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the early development and learning of young children in a warm and nurturing school environment.



About the Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons tailored to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Assist in creating a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their confidence, curiosity, and independence.
  • Support the social, emotional, and physical well-being of pupils, ensuring their needs are met.


What We're Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Has experience working in an Early Years setting.
  • Demonstrates a passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Is patient, nurturing, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Holds relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) or equivalent experience.
  • Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
