Position; Housekeeping Junior Supervisor
Location; Oxford City Centre
Salary; £14.05 per hour
Hours; Full time, any 5 in 7 days
Planet Recruitment have registered an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Junior Supervisor in Oxford City Centre.
Main responsibilities;
- To supervise staff ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all bedrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, offices and public areas at all times
- Ensure teams have the materials to be able to perform their duties
- Uphold high standards of service
- Attend any appropriate off and on the job training courses.
- Induction and ongoing training of new and existing staff and conference teams
- Organise the daily work to cover shortages amongst the team
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements
- Daily inspections of rooms in liaison with the Housekeeping Manager
- Maintain the integrity of the building with regards to security and fire safety
Required Skills / Qualifications;
- Experience of supervising staff
- Advanced command of spoken English
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive and initiative-driven
- Proven experience of planning and organising cleaning programs
- Organisation and time management skills
- Problem solving and attention to detail
- Team orientated
