A prestigious Oxford-based College is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Human Resources to lead and shape its HR function. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage an HR team delivering services across academic and non-academic areas.
- Advise senior leadership on all HR matters, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, and reward strategies.
- Implement a modern, solution-focused HR strategy that supports organisational goals.
- Oversee complex ER casework, employment policy development, and legal compliance.
- Champion initiatives promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
- Act as a key advisor and secretary to the institutions HR Committee.
About You:
- Proven strategic HR leadership experience, ideally within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change.
- Strong data-driven decision-making abilities and HR project management skills.
- Degree-educated, with Chartered or Fellow CIPD membership.
- Experience in higher education is advantageous.
