We are seeking a highly skilled non-contentious construction solicitor or barrister to support complex infrastructure projects on a freelance basis. You must hold a current practising certificate and have significant experience in drafting and advising on NEC and JCT contracts.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive legal and procurement advice on high-value infrastructure projects.

Draft, review, and negotiate standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC) and associated documents.

Advise on matters involving the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Framework Agreements.

Work closely with public sector clients to navigate complex procurement issues.

Deliver commercially sound legal solutions under tight deadlines.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

UK-qualified solicitor or barrister with a valid practising certificate.

Proven track record in non-contentious construction law.

Strong understanding of public procurement, ideally including experience working with or advising local authorities or other public bodies.

Exceptional drafting and communication skills.

Able to manage complex caseloads autonomously.
