Our client, a chambers-listed Legal 200 law firm in Oxford, is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its well-established Employment Department. This opportunity arises as part of the firm's succession planning and expansion strategy.

About the Role:

You will work on a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, primarily focused on respondent work. The client base includes large corporates, SMEs and start-ups. Experience in advocacy would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a full spectrum of employment law matters
  • Handling cases related to TUPE, corporate support, and other employment legislation
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
  • Working collaboratively within a Partner-led team with the opportunity to shape the firm’s business direction

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • PQE: 2-5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong expertise in both contentious and non-contentious employment law
  • Proven ability to manage respondent-focused matters
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, including TUPE and corporate support work
