A Chambers-ranked, leading law firm, our client has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to businesses across the region. Its well-established Employment Law team is growing and is now looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to play a key role in its development.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, primarily on behalf of employers. The role offers autonomy, client contact and the chance to contribute to the team’s ongoing success, with long-term career progression, including potential partnership prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including TUPE, corporate support, contracts, policies and tribunal claims
  • Handling a varied caseload of respondent-focused work, providing strategic advice to businesses
  • Conducting advocacy where required (advantageous but not essential)
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Contributing to the firm’s business development and succession planning strategy

About You

  • A qualified Employment Solicitor with at least 2+ years PQE (higher PQE candidates also welcome)
  • Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law
  • Up-to-date knowledge of TUPE, corporate support work and employment legislation
  • Ambitious, with a strong desire for career development and leadership opportunities
