This role requires a strategic Transport Manager who is capable of overseeing logistics operations in a fast-paced environment within the Transport & Distribution industry. Located in Oxford, you will be tasked with the efficient management of a large fleet and team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Description

The Transport Manager will be responsible for the following

• Oversee the overall logistics operations and ensure efficiency.
• Manage a large team, promoting a collaborative working environment.
• Ensure compliance with all transport laws and regulations.
• Manage and maintain a large fleet of vehicles.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve transport operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle any logistics-related issues or discrepancies.
• Report key operational metrics to senior management.

Profile

A successful Transport Manager should have:

• Transport Manager CPC National/International qualifications
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and laws.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistics-related issues.
