Job Title: Assistant Contract Admin Manager

Location: Littlemore Mental Health Centre, Oxford, OX4 4XN

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday

Trust Location: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

Role type: Temporary for 6 months with possibility of extension

What you'll be responsible for:

  • The post holder will be a key member of the IM&T business support team; with responsibility for the ordering of IT equipment Trust wide, management of monitoring performance of contracts, managing general contract queries, assisting with the tendering of contracts. Supporting the Business Support Manager and Business Support Supervisor in establishing and nurturing effective working relationships and partnerships with Suppliers.
  • Contract query management for both internal and external customers
  • Complaint Handling and resolution of contractual issues
  • Complete all raising and receipting of invoices in Eprocurement, Efinancials and coding of invoices in Share
  • Using a full range of software to produce regular and ad-hoc reports
  • Liaising with suppliers as necessary with a view to providing continuity of service

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • NHS experience (highly desirable)
  • Contract management experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience of assisting with tenders
  • Enthusiastic, confident approach to change, calm and reliable under pressure
