About the Role

As a Facilities Assistant, youll be at the heart of ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Whether its managing mail room duties, maintaining health and safety records, or assisting with office moves, your role will be essential in supporting the wider team. Occasional travel to other office locations will also provide variety and opportunities to broaden your experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of mailroom duties and supporting teams with stationery and other requests.
  • Providing reprographics support and managing office consumables.
  • Investigating and arranging maintenance or repairs for faults and breakdowns.
  • Ensuring high cleaning standards and liaising with providers to resolve issues.
  • Assisting in planning and executing office moves.
  • Conducting health and safety inductions for new staff and maintaining accurate records.
  • Managing storeroom organisation, recycling, and kitchen standards.
  • Representing the team when sourcing and agreeing new contracts.
What Our Client is Looking For

To thrive in this role, youll need:

  • Previous experience in a Facilities role.
  • At least 5 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English and Maths.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Experience in customer service or office environments (experience in a legal setting is a bonus).
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
