A leading aviation company is seeking an experienced B2 Licensed Engineer to join its team at Oxford Airport. This company specializes in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance, and spares support, with expertise in design, flight-testing, certification, technical support, and training for both civil and military applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform avionics/electrical maintenance and repair on a range of rotorcraft.
  • Certify work on electrical and avionics systems in compliance with Part 145 and UK ANO regulations.
  • Carry out inspections, repairs, and rectifications of electrical and avionics systems.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensure the continued safe operation of rotorcraft by leading a team and adhering to high standards of work.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of helicopter electrical and avionics systems and the use of specialized test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to meet the operational needs of the company and its customers.
  • Working knowledge of EASA regulations, particularly Part 145, Part M, and UK ANO requirements.

Qualifications:

  • EASA Part 66 B2 Licence is preferred, but candidates working towards their licence with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience working in a rotary aircraft environment is highly desirable, and type training will be provided to suitable candidates.

Additional Requirements:

  • DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance are required.
  • Compliance with ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations is essential.
