With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across various sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically proficient engineer looking to take the next step in their career.Role Overview: The Intermediate Mechanical Engineer will work under the guidance of the Project Associate or Director, supporting the delivery of mechanical design solutions across a wide range of projects. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of project development, from design and specification through to installation monitoring and client liaison.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in ensuring mechanical/electrical project specifications are robust and aligned with project goals.
  • Ensure that all designs and installations meet current legislative, statutory, and Health & Safety standards.
  • Monitor site installations and liaise with contractors to ensure work is carried out to specification and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments and within project teams.
  • Support the training and development of junior staff members where appropriate.
  • Attend business development meetings and support the preparation of fee tenders as required.
  • Contribute to the timely and efficient delivery of projects, maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Work towards positive financial outcomes on assigned projects.
  • Assist in supervising tasks and provide support to less experienced team members.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to contract administration when appropriate.
  • Adhere to and promote high standards of health and safety practices.
  • Maintain professional standards and keep up to date with industry developments.
