Music Teacher Specification

Music Teacher: We are looking for a dynamic and versatile Music Teacher who has a passion for education and someone who has the ability to pass this on to their students. You must be able to teach Music to key stages 3 and 4. The ability to offer a second subject would be an advantage. This is a Full-time teaching role. This is a Secondary School teaching position starting in ASAP.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Music to key stage 3 and 4
  • Planning lessons and writing schemes of work
  • Marking responsibilities
  • Working as part of the Music department, being able to offer a second subject would be an advantage
  • Taking part in parent's evenings, staff meetings and training and extra-curricular activities if required
