Our client a growing organisation, within the renewable energy sector, is seeking an Office Manager to oversee their administration team and ensure the smooth running of their offices in Oxford.

This role will be split between managing a small administration/customer support team and office management.

Typical duties may include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations to ensure that sales processes are smooth and streamlined, customer communication is prompt with customer service levels maintained, and KPI’s are achieved.
  • Managing administrative tasks, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Managing office budgets & developing report of office-related expenses.
  • Maintaining office equipment and supplies.
  • Sourcing transport services to ensure the service remains high and costings controlled.
  • Organising corporate internal activity (e.g., Staff team building, training, birthday, Xmas etc)
  • Managing & maintaining the office cleanliness.
  • Recruiting and training to employees on office policies and procedures & ensure the policies and regulations are implemented.
  • Developing and implementing office policies and ensuring the business remains compliant with regulations.
  • Other duties deemed necessary by your manager.

To be successful in this role you should have at least 2 years previous administration or customer service experience at a supervisory level or higher, along with excellent customer service skills and be a strong communicator both written and spoken. You will have some experience recruiting and training new members of staff, and be pro active in your working style. We are seeking those with a positive 'can do attitude' and someone is 'handson’, leading by example. You should possess strong Computer Skills, ideally with experience using SAGE 50/200.

Please note you are required in the office each day, there is no hybrid offering available. Office hours are 9am -5pm.
