REED Practice are currently working with a prestigious and historic firm of Chartered Accountants with 3 offices. They are seeking to add a proactive, experienced and deadline driven Payroll Administrator, to join their expanding Payroll Department.  The need has arisen to recruit an additional member to the Payroll Team, who will work alongside a team of experienced Payrollers. The role is best suited to a part time candidate, but full-time candidates can be considered as well.

Responsibilities will consist of but not limited to:

  • Processing payroll and CIS for a portfolio of client payrolls
  • Responsible for ensuring that BACS payments, RTI and AE submissions are accurate and timely
  • Working closely with clients to set expectations and resolve payroll issues
  • Excellent understanding of pension contributions, holiday pay, SSP, SMP and other schemes.
  • Developing trusted relationships with clients through the provision of excellent service and regular contact

Candidates will be/have:

  • Have experience in processing payroll and CIS for multiple clients, in a weekly/fortnightly/monthly capacity
  • Computer literate in MS Office including Excel to an Intermediate/Advanced Level
  • Have knowledge of Pegasus Opera, SAGE and Xero Payrolls
  • Experienced in working in a deadline driven environment, where customer satisfaction is paramount
  • Excellent communication skills, happy to speak with clients to resolve issues that arise
  • Able to work cohesively in a team environment
