About the Role:
Hunter AHP is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a well-regarded NHS hospital in Oxfordshire. This is an ongoing contract offering flexible working options (3, 4, or 5 days per week). The successful candidate will have previous clinical pharmacy experience and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services across a variety of wards, ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.
- Conduct clinical ward rounds and medication reviews, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
- Offer expert advice on drug therapy management, including dosing, interactions, and side effects.
- Monitor and support the safe prescribing and administration of medicines.
- Provide counselling and education to patients on their medications and treatment plans.
- Contribute to audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy team.
Requirements:
- Previous clinical pharmacy experience in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
- GPhC registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with an ongoing commitment.
