Product Manager, Medtech, COR7173

This is a great time for an experienced Product Manager, with experience of working within healthcare domains/medtech companies, to join an innovative, Oxford-based medical technology firm, as they continue on their impressive growth path.

The Role

Taking full ownership of a highly-intelligent FDA-cleared, web-based Software as Medical Device (SaMD) solution, that provides artificial intelligence-driven diagnoses using clinical images, the successful Product Manager will drive the product vision, as well as owning the high-level roadmap and positioning.  In addition, working with hospitals across the US and UK, as well as internal stakeholders, the Product Manager will define the product's positioning and branding, plan new product features and product launches, as well as supporting the further development and expansion of the platform.

As a newly-created position, the Product Manager will be working directly with one of the company's founders, and there are exceptional opportunities for shaping the future direction - not only of the product - but also the position of Product Manager itself.

What’s Required of the Product Manager?

  • Demonstrable experience of working as a Product Manager for novel products with a strong digital/software component.  Direct experience of Software as Medical Device products would be a clear advantage
  • Experience of working within healthcare domains and/or medtech companies
  • Some experience of having worked within a start-up and/or scale-up environment
  • A strong technical background (a degree in a technical/scientific discipline) coupled with a familiarity with medical imaging and/or AI/Machine Learning and computer vision concepts would be highly advantageous
  • A willingness to travel and spend time with customers (including in the US) as well as a willingness to work in the office as needs dictate
