Our client, a respected main contractor based in Oxford, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their established team within the oxford & berkshire region. This contractor will provide the opportunity to deliver a diverse range of projects between the value of 10 Million to 40 Million. Typical sectors they specialise in are education, commercial, health care & accommodation.

The client is eager to interview candidates ASAP, with a start date in december.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Manage the project from start to finish, overseeing all construction activities, budget management, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to meet and exceed project objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the safety of personnel and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and safety on the construction site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing commercial, industrial, or education or leisure projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to keep teams motivated.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications (CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, etc.).
