Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

  • Deliver high-quality project and programme management services across the full project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary client liaison, providing expert advice on cost, programme, risks, and issues.
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams.
  • Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project reporting, including monthly reports, risk registers, and project programmes.
  • Efficiently manage change within projects.
  • Implement and maintain effective communication strategies.

Requirements the Senior Project Manager should have:

  • Experience in public sector projects is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of pre- and post-contract Project Management responsibilities.
  • Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Working towards or holding RICS Chartership or equivalent Project Management qualifications (e.g., CIOB, APM).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Commercially aware.
