We are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor to become a key member of a dynamic construction team. This will give you the opportunity to work on historicconstruction projects within the Oxfordshire region.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze and negotiate subcontractor bids and contracts.
- Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with project managers to optimize cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost variations.
- Provide timely reports on cost forecasts and financial performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in construction cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
