Senior Quantity Surveyor
Actively recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for an award winning 5 star housebuilder to oversee various projects around the Oxford area.

This particular role is based on a project in Oxford, where you will be responsible for overseeing all activities on site, including procurement, subcontractor management, cost reporting, valuations, and ensuring financial performance across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
- Preparation of monthly valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasting
- Maintaining accurate records of cost movements and reporting into internal systems
- Identifying and managing risk and opportunity within the project
- Ensuring compliance with contract terms (JCT) and internal financial procedures
- Leading on value engineering initiatives and cost-saving strategies
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a housebuilder or residential contractor
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts and residential construction processes
- Commercially astute with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractor accounts and keep projects on budget
- A proactive approach and desire to take full ownership of the role
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HNC, HND, Degree)
