Join our team at the historic Grade II* Victorian Oxford Town Hall, located in the heart of Oxford city centre. As a Receptionist, you will be the front face of our venue, delivering excellent customer services to all our customers and visitors. The venue hosts thousands of events a year, from weddings and conferences to key civic events and Christmas parties.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Greet, assist, and direct guests, visitors, and clients as soon as they arrive at the venue.
  • Handle all front desk activities including answering phones, managing reservations, and providing information.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area.
  • Ensure effective communication of any updates or changes in schedules to relevant parties.
  • Manage administrative tasks using computer systems and tools, ensuring all interactions are logged and information is accurate.
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience, addressing any queries or concerns with professionalism and patience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • IT literacy, comfortable using various computer systems and tools.
  • Flexibility towards working hours, able to commit to the part-time schedule provided.
