The Role:
£80k plus a £4k+ car allowance
5% pension
Baggage Handling projects in the UK
Location - remote (Travel both domestically and Internationally)

Your Key Responsibilities:

Innovative strategic planning development for market approach within assigned territories
Defining and implementing the business strategy on the areas entrusted to you
Regular Reporting on the market approach in the region, e.g. on competitors, customers, market share and opportunities
Developing an in-depth expertise of our market, current and future developments and trends
Building the clients customer base, market share and building/maintaining customer relations
Help procurement build relationships with local suppliers in the region
Developing the order book on the geographical areas entrusted to you
Development of new business opportunities through prospecting and networking in your region
Coordination of sales leads
Bid management
Working with the sales team members to develop the bid
Discuss and agree sales strategy with the Regional Sales Manager, including any recommendations for target prices, agents' fees, and risk contingencies
Checking the contents of all submission documents for your clients prior to submission
Arrange for the quotation to be forwarded to the customer
Regularly updating sales forecasts in the Salesforce (CRM)
Be the driver behind weekly and monthly reports on market strategies and opportunities.

What you'll need:

Degree-level qualification desirable
Experience within material handling systems environment preferred
Baggage handling system market knowledge
Ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial contact development to after-sales support for repeat business
