Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Reed Engineering are working with a family-run business established in 1976, specializing in the design and build of production line equipment for sectors like pharmaceuticals and healthcare. I am seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer who is client-facing, aligns with the values of the business, and is eager to advance within the team. This role offers a dynamic mix of workshop duties and client visits, providing diverse and fulfilling work experiences.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Build and test machines in the workshop, focusing on electrical components.
  • Conduct scheduled service visits and respond to emergency breakdowns at client sites.
  • Provide technical support to customers during and after installations.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to travel as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and machine building.
  • Strong electrical skills, with a good understanding of mechanical systems and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours and travel.

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:45 to 17:00
