Our client is a leading provider of bespoke engineering technology nationwide. They now have an immediate requirement for a Service Engineer to join their team and be based in the Southeast: Oxford, Reading, Slough, Epsom, Crawley, Dartford, Maidstone or close surrounding areas. The successful Service Engineer will travel to customer sites carrying out the service, maintenance and repair of the company’s range of specialist equipment.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a family run company with a personal touch who are at the forefront of technology in their field. Full training on the company products will be given along with specialist training including the opportunity to gain Gas Safe qualifications.
Service Engineer Requirements:
- Strong electrical engineering background with a relevant qualification to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 as a minimum.
- Mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Ability to work with single phase and 3 phase systems.
- Knowledge of PLC/Drives.
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to read electrical engineering schematics.
- Flexible approach to some Saturday working and occasional overnight stays.
- IT literate.
- Hold full clean driving licence.
- Must have own hand tools.
Service Engineer Benefits:
- Salary is £40,560 - £44,990.
- Monday to Friday - 40 hour working week, paid door to door travel.
