A fantastic SEN school in Littlemore in Oxford are searching for a Pastoral Support Worker to work closely with their students with learning disabilities and social, emotional and mental health needs. They are looking for a Pastoral Support Worker who is compassionate, resilient and willing to learn. The special school offer fantastic training in behaviour support and mental health so you will be prepared to support these students to the best of your ability. The role will include liaising with external parties such as psychologists and healthcare professionals, rolling out EHCP's and dealing with families too.

This opportunity to work with social, emotional and mental health needs is available to start ASAP and will be a full-time, permanent position. The school will consider pastoral support workers at both a graduate level as well as those who have experience working with SEN or children in general. Most important to the school is your passion for helping young people with mental health as the children are in the heart of everything they do!

As a Pastoral Support Worker you will be supporting the emotional development, behavioural needs and academic development of the students, overcoming any barriers to learning and promoting self-esteem.
