The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced KS3 English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons for KS3 students.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
  • Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching English at KS3 level.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and inclusive education practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the well-being and development of all students
