We are working on behalf of a family-owned specialist manufacturer, serving customers worldwide. Their expert team is expanding, and we are seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to support their diverse production processes, building services, facilities, and to contribute to exciting new projects.
Day to Day of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:
- Conduct planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across all business functions.
- Work closely with production to maintain machinery and equipment.
- Utilise engineering skills to develop solutions and support continuous improvement activities for optimal processing performance.
- Assist the Engineering Manager and projects team with new equipment installation, including industrial wiring tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical control and instrumentation faults efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Preferably a 60/40 mechanical/electrical bias.
- Engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship with HNC, ONC, or equivalent.
- 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Practical electrical and mechanical experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with pumps, motors and inverters and pneumatics.
