Play Torbay is a local charity that provides fun and accessible play opportunities throughout the year. We deliver various activities such as playground adventures, forest school sessions, weekly clubs and special events in our local area.

PILOT (Playing, Learning and Teaching in the Outdoors) is the bespoke alternative programme options we offer to young people who are not in mainstream education.

This is a 1 year fixed term rewarding role supporting children and young people who are not in mainstream education. During term time, you'll manage and oversee bespoke EOTIS & EOTAS learning placements in a play-based scheme, coordinating personalised 1:1 support programmes to help children overcome educational barriers. The working week for this role will consist of both administrative and nine hours of direct delivery, 1:1 working, with service users.

In combination with this the post holder will also be responsible to act as a senior playworker during school holidays leading, managing and supporting the play staff team including Junior Placements to ensure quality provision delivery.
