Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small Head Office Team. Solely responsible for the Credit Control & Sales Ledger function you will work under your own steam and be responsible for your own workload, whilst working in a small friendly, hardworking team. Reporting to the Finance Manager

Full Management and covering all aspects of the Accounts and Sales Ledger Function

Main Duties will include:

  • Credit Checking all potential New Clients
  • Sending out Terms of Business
  • Management of all Debtor Days by phone and in writing
  • Send out statements
  • Sending out Invoices, Reconciliations, Raise Credit Notes & Payment Postings
  • Control of Customer Accounts to ensure to meet debtor day KPI’s
  • Regular Management reports and Cash Flow Forecasts
  • To improve where possible the Credit Control and Sales Ledger function
  • Control of the Company Petty Cash
  • Supporting the Finance department when needed

Experience required

  • Ability to demonstrate at interview a Full Accounts Assistant working experience and knowledge
  • Desireable (but not essential) - Part or Fully AAT Qualified
  • Excellent Excel & Sage Intacct experience
  • Engaging & Friendly Team Player
  • Strong Communicator at all levels
  • Excellent work ethic

To achieve the higher salary you will need to demonstrate your ability to meet the key criteria of the role by past experience and during the interview process.
